Expertise: My research interests relate to gaining a greater understanding of the pathogenesis of oral diseases to complement my clinical speciality of diagnostic oral pathology. My main research interest is in oral cancer, particularly developing tools to more accurately predict the transformation of potentially malignant oral diseases to oral cancer and, more recently, investigation the role of immune cells in the oral cancer environment
